Klonopin, Rivotril, Syn-Clonazepam
Klonopin, Rivotril and Syn-Clonazepam are all brand names for the benzodiazepine clonazepam. A benzodiazepine is a CNS depressant, which slows the nervous system. Used in the treatment of MS for tremor, pain and spasticity.
Clonazepam can compound the effect of other central nervous system depressants such as antihistamines, sedatives, tranquilisers and muscle relaxants. Clonazepam should not be taken with alcohol.
Possible Side-Effects may include:
- Slurred Speech
- Abdominal Cramps
- Blurred Vision
- Gastrointestinal changes
I don’t know about you, but all of the above symptoms sound like multiple sclerosis to me. I certainly don’t need a drug to make feel the way I feel most days anyway.
Also, as it is a benzodiazepine it should be similar to temazepam which I use to ease my insomnia and suffer no side-effects from.
