The Irrefutable Evidence that Diet can transform your MS Prognosis

Irrefutable evidence is, perhaps, a strong claim but, one I think you will find backed-up by many dietician, doctors and, indeed, Multiple Sclerosis patients all around the world. I, personally, believe it has transformed my prognosis over the last couple of years since I began taking my diet seriously. But, that, of course, is only circumstantial evidence.

MS Recovery Diet: Take Control, Change What You Eat and Live Symptom-free

by Ann Sawyer and Judith Bachrach

Welcome to an MS world that is not dark and dismal. but a place filled with hope, progress and gratitude. Those of us who have
found a way to control and reverse our symptoms talk about the new discoveries each of us has made in solving our individual MS puzzle. We swap recipes and tell humorous stories of our misadventures. The people who populate my MS world have not only stopped the disease progressing, but actually reversed it, by heaking and restoring their abilities. We look to the future with the expectation of health, and we’ve done that with nothing more than making specific changes to our diet.

Take control of MS; it can be managed.

The Multiple Sclerosis Diet Book: A Low-fat Diet for the Treatment of MS

by Roy Laver Swank and Barbara Brewer Dugan

Hundreds of new recipes for dishes that taste terrific but stick to the diet rules so important for controlling M.S. Now completely revised to conform to the latest medical research.
It has been said that patients on the Swank low-fat diet prosper because it is basically a healthy diet. It is the opinion of the authors, however, that the very close relationship of the progress of the disease to the amount of fat intake, and the marked intolerance tof the disease to animal and butterfat, argues for a direct relationaship of the fat intake not only to the clinical course but also to the basic mechanism of the disease.

Take control of MS; the symptoms can be reversed.

Like many physicians, Dr. Terry Wahls focused on treating her patients ailments with drugs or surgical procedures until she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2000. Within three years, her back and stomach muscles had weakened to the point where she needed a tilt-recline wheelchair. Conventional medical treatments were failing her, and she feared that she would be bedridden for the rest of her life. I have been an admirer of George Jelinek for many years. I agree that it adds credence to many other dietary teachings that abound.
