Redundant Post Replacement

As part of a process of blog amalgamation certain pages have been merged leaving orphan pages that no longer serve any purpose. Those posts or pages have been redirected to this landing page so that visitors are not left in limbo. Other pages have been deemed to be non-responsive in that they receive few if any visitors so the posts have too been redirected here.

301 Redirects

A 301 Redirect is a way of advising the search engines that a page has been permanently moved. This should preclude any possible clain of duplicate content should an old and a new page conflict. This is an important step when optimising any of you web sites as duplicate content is likely to see your page rankings demoted quite considerably.

Filler Material

The remainder of this text serves absolutely no purpose, it is just a collection of words intended to fill the page with text in order to increase the word count to a level considered sufficient for the WordPress SEO plugin tool. This plugin suggests that each post should have a minimum of 300 words to fully optimise the search potential of the post.

Currently, this post is light by quite a few choice expressions so, if the plugin is correct it is unlikely to perform well in search listings but, as that is not the purpose of this post it is of very little consequence. It just kept the author occupied for a few minutes longer.
