Esperanza Homeopathic Neuropeptides

alpha-cobratoxin

alpha-immunokine

Welcome to this site. If this is your first visit, please take a few minutes to look around. There is a lot more here besides sublingual sprays.

Esperanza - The Spanish word for "Hope"
Neuro - Concerning nerves or the Nervous System
Peptide - a molecule formed from amino acids, a protein is a polypeptide

I first became aware of this treatment many months ago when I started receiving emails from Esperanza. I paid them little attention as they were just some of the many unsolicited emails I receive. It wasn't until an article in the MSRC's New Pathways magazines lent it some credence, that I sat up and took an interest.

Demyelinated Nerve

Derived from a protein called alpha-cobratoxin or alpha-immunokine found in the venom of the Thailand Cobra. The neuropeptide produced from the venom lacks measurable toxicity.

The peptide regulates the immune system and allows messages to be conducted along nerves, despite loss of myelin. The treatment is delivered by sublingual spray, under the tongue where the neuropeptides are absorbed into the blood stream. From here it is transported to the brain where the protein binds with the brain's nicotine receptors. Quite how this influences the nerve action is unclear.

Because it relies on the nicotine receptors it will not work in a smoker, or even in someone exposed to passive smoke.

Originally developed by Biotherapeutics Inc as Immunokine delivered by subcutaneous injection, it took the development of Micro Emulsion Technology (MET), a topical delivery system, to produce the sublingual delivery product.

The cost is currently $10,000 for a one year treatment, approx £5,000 at current exchange rates. It will involve a trip to Freeport in the Bahamas for a 3-7 day evaluation and to receive your initial doses. Subsequent supplies will be sent directly.

I will bring you more news as it becomes available.

UPDATE: I contacted Esperanza who now have an office in Darlington, I think, and decided to give it a try. The cost was £5,450 for a year's supply. I intend to keep my Esperanza Diary to record my progress.

FURTHER UPDATE Esperanza are being investigated for operating without the appropriate license.
