Omeprazole for Multiple Sclerosis

Omeprazole
Omeprazole is marketed under a number of brand names including Antra®, Losec® and Prilosec®. It is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux and irritable bowel syndrome.
The tablet and powder forms of Omeprazole also contain sodium bicarbonate which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach helping the Omeprazole work more quickly.
Side Effects
Possible side-effects can include:
- Dizziness
- Constipation
- Cough
- Stomach Pain
- Diarrhoea
- Back Pain

In my experience, this did nothing to help my IBS type stomach pains although I suffered none of the possible side-effects.
